One-time tickets

1. Initial provisions

The e-shop is available at jizdenkagw.cz

For the purchase and use of jízdenkagw purchased through the jízdenkagw e-shop (the “E-shop”) or at the desk of the Carrier’s E-shop (the “Desk”) or of a contracted ticket seller of the Carrier, the following Terms of Business apply. These Terms of Business can be found on the E-shop website on the “Terms of Business” tab. The text below contains a brief overview of these Terms of Business.

2. Types, validity and use of tickets

A one way ticket is valid for one journey from the station listed under the “FROM” heading to the station under the “TO” heading.

A return ticket is valid for one journey to the “TO” (the “From-To” direction) destination and one journey “BACK” (the “To-From” direction).

A passenger may board the train at a station which is closer to the final station should such station be on the route for which the ticket is valid.

After boarding the train, the ticket must be validated (marked by loading a 2D code). A non-validated ticket is INVALID!

One way ticket

The journey must be made on the first day of the ticket’s validity and completed by the end of the ticket validity, i.e., 11:59 pm (inclusive) of the following day.

Return ticket

The journey “TO” must be made on the first day of the ticket validity, while the journey “BACK” must be made on the second day of validity at the latest.

Interruption of the journey

For tickets up to a distance of 100 km (100 km in one direction in the case of a return ticket), no interruption of the journey is allowed. After having travelled 100 km, interrupting the journey is possible without formal procedures, and the validity of the ticket shall not be extended. In the case of visits of children in care facilities, interruption of the journey is not allowed at all except for situations when the condition of the child travelling with the parent so requires.

3. Purchase of tickets in the E-shop

An up-to-date overview of tickets offered in the E-shop can be found on the “Single tickets” tab.

Both registered and unregistered passengers may purchase a jízdenkagw ticket.

A one-time ticket purchased from the jízdenkagw E-shop is not transferable. Jízdenkagw may be purchased in the E-shop either for one passenger or for several passengers at once.

The passenger first searches for and selects a specific route in the order form and then selects the type of fare based on the passenger’s entitlement; a jízdenkagw ticket may contain several types of fares including supplementary services such as carriage of a bicycle, a dog, a piece of luggage, etc. for one or more passengers (from fare types on the “one-time tickets” tab and from items under the Other tab (bicycle, etc.), a maximum of 5 types of fare and items may be selected and put in the shopping cart, with the number of persons and items not being limited. When purchasing more than 5 types of fare and items, the whole purchase must be split into two or more jízdenkagw tickets.). As the last step, passengers enter their email address, to which the ticket will be sent after successful payment, and the name and surname of the passenger. Should a logged-in (registered) passenger be making the purchase, the email, name, and surname fields will be pre-filled with the registered passenger’s data. The passenger may change these pre-filled data during the purchase. Upon sending the ticket, passengers express their consent to the Terms of Business and then make the payment through the ČSOB payment gate. After entering and sending the payment data, it is recommended that passengers wait for the result of the payment processing. The data stated in the sent order are deemed correct by the Carrier.

After successful payment, a jízdenkagw ticket in PDF format is sent to the Passenger as well as in PNG format; in both formats, among other things, a unique protective 2D code is stated. The Carrier is not responsible for the ticket’s delivery to the email address of the passenger stated in the form, and it is up to the passenger to ensure that the email address is working. If several passengers are included on one jízdenkagw ticket, the ticket shall state only the name and surname of one passenger, who must always travel with this jízdenkagw ticket. In the event of a ticket inspection on the train, this passenger must present himself or herself with ID with the same name and surname as stated on the jízdenkagw ticket, otherwise, the jízdenkagw ticket will be considered invalid. All passengers travelling without this jízdenkagw ticket shall be deemed as travelling without a valid ticket and shall pay the fare they are supposed to under the Contractual Terms of Carriage (CTC).

A one-time jízdenkagw ticket may be presented on the train for validation and inspection in accordance with the CTC:

  • as a 2D code PNG file on the display of a portable electronic device or as a PDF file (containing the 2D code) on the display of a portable electronic device or
  • as a printed copy of the PDF and/or PNG format in A4 format.

In all cases, passengers must prove their identity in the event of a ticket inspection on the Carrier’s train by presenting the ID for which the jízdenkagw was issued. The presented PDF file with the ticket or the PNG file with the 2D code must be stored electronically by the passenger so that it can be immediately shown for the purpose of the inspection on a train of the Carrier and so as not to be dependent on reception of an internet signal, the remaining battery life, etc. In the event of a device malfunction, the passenger must pay the fare on the train the passenger is supposed to pay under the CTC.

Sale tickets

An up-to-date overview of sale tickets offered on the E-shop can be found under the “Sale tickets” tab.

A one-day jízdenkagw pass makes it possible to:

  • travel by train over the whole Šumava railway network on the regional railways České Budějovice – Černý Kříž, Číčenice – Nové Údolí and Strakonice – Volary (for more details, see the CTC),
  • a one-day jízdenkagw is valid for the whole day until midnight,
  • unlimited number of journeys and trains used, including one bicycle and one piece of luggage, and one dog,
  • getting on and off any time and at any station of the Šumava Railways network,
  • a one-time ticket purchased from jízdenkagw E-shop is not transferable,
  • registered as well as unregistered passengers may buy jízdenkagw tickets in the E-shop.
  • The purchase process and use of the one-day jízdenkagw pass is similar to one-time tickets. Passengers select the one-day pass in the “Special Offer Ticket” tab. Together with a one-day pass, other items from the “one-time tickets” or “Other (bicycle etc.)” tab cannot be put (added) in the shopping cart (the price of the one-day tickets includes at most one bicycle, dog, and luggage item). Jízdenkagw is sent to the passenger in PDF and PNG format to the electronic mail address entered by the passenger upon purchase or upon registration. Both formats include a unique protective feature of the ticket in the form of a 2D code.

    Passes

Season tickets are intended for multiple journeys in the section for which they are valid over the chosen period. The number of journeys within such period is not limited.

    7-Day, 30-day, 90-day:

  • are valid from the beginning of the period from 0:00am of the first day of the validity until 11:59pm (inclusive) of the last day of the validity for the specific journey from the station under the “FROM” heading to the station stated under the “WHERE” or “To” heading.
  • a passenger may choose from a range of passes offered through the E-shop on the “Season tickets” tab
  • Passengers with valid season tickets may travel with one dog free of charge on a train of the Carrier provided that the passenger observes the terms of carriage of live animals under the CTC.

    Interruption of the journey

A journey may be interrupted during the ticket validity without formal procedures, and the ticket validity shall not be extended.

    3. Season tickets and contactless payment card (the “Card”)

For regular commuting to school, work etc., the Carrier offers passengers special saver season tickets.

While travelling with a season ticket, it does not matter how frequent the travelling is, whether it is one way only, return or just for a part of the pre-paid route. With a season ticket, the frequency of travelling is not limited, and one may travel repeatedly. The terms governing season tickets are set out in the CTC. The comfort of using a season ticket also translates into the way in which season tickets are purchased and used.

For season tickets, the E-shop uses a universal carrier, namely a contactless payment card (the “Card”). Passengers may use their regular contactless payment card (credit or debit) as a carrier for the card or purchase a prepaid contactless payment card. A contactless payment card used as a carrier for a pass may be issued by any bank. The Card is used solely as an identifier of the season ticket, and no other information may be written or uploaded to the season ticket, which is only paired with the Card in its virtual form.

    4. Pre-paid contactless payment card (the “Card”)

A prepaid payment card is an ideal carrier for season tickets, especially for children, pupils, students and other passengers who do not want to use a regular payment card as a carrier for their passes.

The E-shop, in cooperation with the partner of the Carrier, Československá obchodní banka, a.s. (ČSOB), offers selected types of prepaid Card, such as Smart Keychain (”Chytrá klíčenka”), COOP good card (”Dobrá karta COOP”), or COOL card. The current range of prepaid Cards in the E-shop for registered passengers can be found on the “Card Management” tab.

The main advantages and benefits of using a prepaid Card are especially the following:

    • it is anonymous, it is not bound to a bank account and may be purchased without the need to sign a contract or visit a bank;
    • it can never be overdrawn; only what was charged to the Card can be spent, and it is therefore safe in the event of loss, theft, etc.;
    • it is a Mastercard payment card and can be used for paying for items everywhere where payment with a regular payment card is possible, including cash withdrawals from ATM machines, etc.;
    • the holder can monitor the transactions made with the card, all payments are shown on the portal or in a mobile application, and after each payment, a notification is sent via SMS to the specified number (an ideal electronic wallet for children);
    • you may find further information about prepaid Cards on the websites of individual Cards.

    5. Ordering and delivery of a prepaid payment card in the E-shop

Only a registered passenger may order a prepaid payment card and have this card delivered. First, the passenger must log in to his or her user account using an email and a password. On the “Card Management” tab, passengers choose from the menu the type of prepaid Card, the delivery method and delivery address, and make the payment through the ČSOB payment gate. After receiving the Card, passengers activate it, proceeding in accordance with the Card documentation. A prepaid card is activated by sending an SMS or by registration on the card portal (depending on the Card type). Activation is completed by an SMS being sent back to the passenger, which contains the PIN for the card. After activation of the Card, registration of the Card in the E-shop is made.

    6. Registering the Card in the E-shop

Before buying a season ticket, a registered passenger first registers the Card. First, the passenger must log in to his or her user account using an email and a password. Then, the passenger may register Cards to this account. Several Cards may be registered to one user account.

Cards are registered under the “Card Management” tab:

    • by filling in the name and surname of the passenger,
    • choosing the type of fare required for and matched to the Card (applicable discount, special fare or a discounted fare is described for individual ticket types),
    • depending on the selected type of fare (passengers entitled to a discount), by entering additional information, e.g., date of birth, end of validity of an ID document needed for the discount, uploading of a photograph, etc.,
    • by making a registration transaction through the secured payment gate of ČSOB. After filling in the required Card data and pressing the pay button, a so-called passenger card token is generated in the ČSOB payment gate (the amount of CZK 1 is merely a fictitious transaction for the purposes of generating the Card token and is not deducted from the Card). This token used by the E-shop is a pairing identifier between the Card and the season ticket. The carrier in no way processes or saves payment details about individual Cards, and these details are always processed in the secure environment of the ČSOB payment gate. Registering a Card in the E-shop will not be completed in the event of invalid tokenization of the Card. In such case, the Card does not meet the tokenization conditions (e.g., is invalid, blocked etc.).
    • After successful registration, the profile of the registered card will show up on the “Card Management” tab.

A passenger may register several Cards to a user account. A registered passenger thus may register and manage Cards and purchase season tickets not only for himself or herself, but also for other passengers to whom he or she has a demonstrable relationship and is entitled to act on their behalf (e.g., parents for their children). A registered passenger must, based on the respective document, prove the accuracy of the personal data shown on the Card which he or she manages on behalf of another passenger, similarly to proving the accuracy of the passenger’s own personal data. Passengers acknowledge that they are solely liable for the risk on the part of another user or users of the Card they are exposing themselves to.

    7. Purchase of season tickets in the E-shop

Immediately after registering the Card, a season ticket may be purchased. An up-to-date overview of season tickets offered on the E-shop can be found on the “Season tickets” tab. A jízdenkagw season ticket purchased from the E-shop to a passenger Card is non-transferable. Both registered and unregistered passengers may purchase a jízdenkagw season ticket. Passengers log in to their user account using an email and a password. Passengers search for and choose a specific connection in the order form and then select a fare type depending on their entitlement. Then they select a Card to which a jízdenkagw season ticket is matched. The payment is made via the ČSOB payment gate.

The jízdenkagw season ticket must be presented for inspection on a train only with the Card carrier, as stipulated by the CTC. During an inspection on a train, passengers prove their identity by presenting the ID document for which the jízdenkagw ticket was issued.

    Contactless payment cards

Nowadays, contactless Visa and Mastercard payment cards are commonly used in many Czech cities and by carriers for customer check-in. GW Train Regio is among the carriers who support this modern way of checking in, enabling passengers to use all the benefits this way of checking in and purchasing tickets offers.

Purchases of season tickets can be made by all holders of contactless Visa and Mastercard payment cards irrespective of the issuing bank and irrespective of whether the card is debit, credit or prepaid.

2.1. Smart keychain – a card for the young generation (card for children and their parents)

Smart keychain is a contactless payment sticker which can be stuck onto a mobile phone or onto an accessory pendant with which it is possible to carry the sticker on a keyring.

Why should children use the smart keychain for payments?

Contactless payment is very commonplace in the Czech Republic. More and more often, we pay by card, by electronic keychain or mobile phone. The number of shops where cashless purchases can be made is growing. The young generation should get familiar with the environment of cashless transactions as early as possible. Cashless transactions are practical, comfortable and safe. Bank notes tend to be dirty, which makes cashless transactions more hygienic.

May first grade elementary school pupils pay with the Smart Keychain?

Yes. Children and youth under 18 years of age may use the Smart keychain and a prepaid payment card. When parents deem their child capable of using a smart keychain as a prepaid payment card and pay for purchases with it, they may activate the keychain and give it to the child to start using it. Children are usually quite adept at using new technology.

Smart keychain as pocket money for children, multiple use

Children can cover their school expenditures with the keychain, buy a ticket as well as a snack, or may use it as pocket money, without having to handle cash. The risk of loss, theft or abuse is eliminated. Contactless payments save time and costs, are safe and very modern. Youth should take an active approach to learning about the environment of electronic finance. A history of transactions made with the keychain is available online to the keychain holders, and holders receive SMS notifications about the payments they have made. Children can thus learn how to be responsible and become financially literate through practice and under their parents’ supervision.

    2.2. COOP good card

The good card is a prepaid Mastercard payment card with which it is possible to pay in all shops equipped with a payment terminal, as well as on the Internet, with the payment being safe and anonymous. The card can be charged with a sum of money also at COOP shops; at the same time, you receive more benefits under the COOP loyalty programme. Thanks to the card, you will be able to collect points far more quickly, which you will then be able to redeem in the participating COOP stores.

    2.3. COOL card

The COOL card is a standard prepaid Mastercard payment card intended for children and their parents. It helps parents to send their children pocket money and keep their children’s spending under control. Teach your children how to save and handle money; send them exactly as much as necessary and, through SMS notifications, know exactly what is happening with the money.

In addition, there is a mobile Android, Apple iOS and Windows Phone application available for the COOL card.

You can get your COOL card at ČSOB branches or order it at:

Then they select the Card to which a jízdenkagw season ticket is matched.

The season tickets in the category “special fare and discounted fare” may be bought immediately after registration of the Card, specifically the season tickets for pupils aged 6-14 and students aged 15-25. In this case, passengers are obliged, within 21 days of registration of the Card with the stated fare type, to verify and prove their entitlement or a discount at the desk of the Carrier’s E-shop or in another way which is in accordance with the CTC. This deadline for verifying the entitlement to the discount is extended to 42 days for registrations of the Card made until 31 January 2018. Should the entitlement to a discount not be verified, activation of the Card and the validity of the tickets paired with the card will be suspended until the entitlement to the discount is demonstrated in the above manner.

    6. Transaction limits of prepaid payment cards

Transaction limits are applied to prepaid payment cards (Cards) depending on the degree of identification of the prepaid card holder.

Rules for purchasing and using electronic tickets purchased in the jízdenkagw e-shop

    1. Initial provisions

These rules of purchasing and using electronic tickets purchased in the jízdenkagw e-shop (the “Rules”) set out the terms of purchasing and using electronic tickets (the “jízdenkagw “) in relation to travelling on the trains of the carrier GW Train Regio a.s. (the “Carrier”) on the regional railways České Budějovice – Černý Kříž, Číčenice – Nové Údolí and Strakonice – Volary.

These Rules have been drawn up in Czech.

For the purchase and use of jízdenkagw purchased through the jízdenkagw e-shop (the “E-shop”) or at the desk of the Carrier’s E-shop (the “Desk”) or of a contracted ticket seller of the Carrier, the following Terms of Business apply, which contain:

    • Rules for purchasing and using electronic tickets purchased in the jízdenkagw e-shop,
    • Carriage terms and conditions for public personal carriage of GW train Regio a.s. valid for České Budějovice – Černý Kříž, Číčenice – Nové Údolí and Strakonice – Volary (the CTC),
    • The current fares and other prices as set out in the Carrier’s tariff (the “Tariff”).

    2. Personal data protection

The Carrier represents that all personal data are considered confidential, shall be used for internal purposes only, shall not be published, provided to a third party or otherwise abused. When handling personal data, the Carrier and the processor abide by the applicable legislation, especially by Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on personal data protection, as amended. The Carrier is entitled to authorise a third party to process the personal data of passengers, making such party the personal data processor.

Upon purchasing the jízdenkagw ticket or upon registering in the E-shop, passengers give their consent to the Carrier to their personal data being collected and processed. Passengers acknowledge that the provision of personal data is voluntary, is for an indefinite period and that passengers may recall their consent on the Carrier’s website.

    3. Purchase of a season ticket in the E-shop

The e-shop is available at jizdenkagw.cz

Purchases in the E-shop are possible at any time except for during interruptions necessary for system maintenance. Passengers will be informed about maintenance interruptions or in the event of an exceptional shut-down of the website of the E-shop or the website of the Carrier.

Jízdenkagw may be purchased in the E-shop no earlier than 60 days and no later than 10 minutes before the departure of the train from the passenger’s station of departure. A ticket purchased later will, in accordance with the CTC, be considered invalid by any authorised employee of the Carrier, unless the CTC provide otherwise.

Jízdenkagw purchased in the E-shop is valid only on the lines and routes and on trains operated by the Carrier.

The costs incurred by a passenger while using remote communication devices in connection with a jízdenkagw purchase are to be covered by the passenger.

Both registered and unregistered passengers may purchase jízdenkagw in the E-shop; however, certain types of tickets, especially season tickets, may be purchased by registered passengers only. When carrying out registration, passengers will fill in all the mandatory information, i.e., their email address (login), name and surname, mobile phone number and a password. When confirming the registration, passengers also give their consent to the Terms of Business. After that, information about the creation of a user account and about the steps to complete the account activation is sent to the passenger’s user account. Only once the activation has been completed may passengers log in using their email address and password.

    4. Season tickets and a contactless payment card (the “Card”)

A contactless payment card used as a carrier for season tickets may be issued by any bank. The Card is used solely as an identifier of the season ticket, and no other information may be written or uploaded to the season ticket, which is only paired with the Card in its virtual form.

    • it is anonymous, it is not bound to a bank account and may be purchased without the need to sign a contract or visit a bank;
    • it can never be overdrawn; only what was charged to the Card can be spent, and it is therefore safe in the event of loss, theft, etc.;
    • it is a Mastercard payment card and can be used for paying for items everywhere where payment with a regular payment card is possible, including cash withdrawals from ATM machines, etc.;
    • the holder can monitor the transactions made with the card, all payments are shown on the portal or in a mobile application, and after each payment, a notification is sent via SMS to the specified number (an ideal electronic wallet for children); and
    • you may find further information about prepaid Cards on the websites of individual Cards.

    6. Ordering and delivery of a prepaid payment card in the E-shop

Only a registered passenger may order a prepaid payment card and have this card delivered. First, the passenger must log in to his or her user account using an email and a password. On the “Card Management” tab, passengers choose from the menu the type of prepaid Card, choose the delivery method and the delivery address, and make the payment through the ČSOB payment gate. After receiving the Card, passengers activate it, proceeding in accordance with the Card documentation. A prepaid card is activated by sending an SMS or by registration on the card portal (depending on the Card type). Activation is completed by an SMS being sent back to the passenger, which contains the PIN for the card. After activation of the Card, registration of the Card in the E-shop is carried out.

  • by filling in the name and surname of the passenger,
  • choosing the type of fare required for and matched to the Card (applicable discount, special fare or a discounted fare is described for individual ticket types),
  • depending on the selected type of fare (passengers entitled to a discount), by entering additional information, e.g., date of birth, end of validity of an ID document needed for the discount, uploading of a photograph, etc.,
  • by making a registration transaction through the secure payment gate of ČSOB. In such case, the Card does not meet the tokenization conditions (e.g., is invalid, blocked, etc.).
  • After successful registration, the profile of the registered card will show up on the “Card Management” tab.
  • A passenger may register several Cards to a user account.

    8. Purchase of season tickets in the E-shop

Immediately after registering the Card, a season ticket may be purchased. An up-to-date overview of season tickets offered in the E-shop can be found on the “Season tickets” tab. Then they select the Card to which a jízdenkagw season ticket is matched.

    9. Purchase of one-time tickets in the E-shop

An up-to-date overview of one-time tickets offered in the E-shop can be found on the “One-time tickets” tab.

Both registered and unregistered passengers may purchase a one-time jízdenkagw ticket.

When purchasing more than 5 types of fare and items, the whole purchase must be split into two or more jízdenkagw tickets.

If several passengers are included in one jízdenkagw ticket, the ticket shall state only the name and surname of one passenger, who must always travel with this jízdenkagw ticket. In the event of a ticket inspection on the train, this passenger must present himself or herself with ID with the same name and surname as those stated on the jízdenkagw ticket, otherwise, the jízdenkagw ticket will be considered invalid.

  • as a 2D code PNG file on the display of a portable electronic device or as a PDF file (containing the 2D code) on the display of a portable electronic device or
  • as a printed copy of the PDF and/or the PNG format in A4 format.
  • In all cases, passengers must prove their identity in the event of a ticket inspection on the Carrier’s train by presenting the ID for which the jízdenkagw was issued. The presented PDF file with the ticket or the PNG file with the 2D code must be stored electronically by the passenger so that it can be immediately shown for the purpose of inspection on a train of the Carrier and so as not to be dependent on reception of an internet signal, the remaining battery life, etc. In the event of a device malfunction, the passenger must pay the fare on the train the passenger is supposed to pay under the CTC.

    10. Purchase of special offer tickets in the E-shop

An up-to-date overview of sale tickets offered in the E-shop can be found on the “Special offer tickets” tab.

A one-day jízdenkagw pass makes it possible to:

  • travel by train over the whole Šumava railway network on the regional railways České Budějovice – Černý Kříž, Číčenice – Nové Údolí and Strakonice – Volary (for more details, see the CTC),
  • a one-day jízdenkagw is valid for the whole day until midnight,
  • unlimited number of journeys and trains used, including one bicycle and one piece of luggage, and one dog,
  • getting on and off any time and at any station of the Šumava Railways network,
  • a one-time ticket purchased from the jízdenkagw E-shop is not transferable,
  • registered as well as unregistered passengers may buy jízdenkagw tickets in the E-shop.
  • The purchase process and use of the one-day jízdenkagw pass is similar to one-time tickets. Passengers select the one-day pass on the “Special Offer Ticket” tab. Together with a one-day pass, other items from the “one-time tickets” or “Other (bicycle, etc.)” tab cannot be put (added) in the shopping cart (the price of the one-day tickets includes at most one bicycle, dog, and luggage item). Jízdenkagw is sent to the passenger in PDF and PNG format to the electronic mail address entered by the passenger upon purchase or upon registration. Both format include a unique protective feature of the ticket in the form of a 2D code.

    11. Paying for tickets

Passengers pay for a jízdenkagw ticket purchased in the E-shop by choosing from the current range of the E shop’s payment methods, especially:

  • online payment by a payment card, issued by any bank, of the Mastercard, Mastercard Electronic, Maestro, VISA, VISA Electron, V Pay, Diners Club and Discover type (the payment card may or may not be linked to the Card the passenger registered in the E-shop as the season ticket carrier),
  • online payment using the payment button of ČSOB and Poštovní spořitelna,
  • online payment using the MasterPass, InCard Masterpass mobile wallet.
  • The payment methods are provided by the Carrier’s partner, Československá obchodní banka, a.s. (ČSOB). ČSOB operates an internet payment gate for payment cards, fully supporting the 3D Secure standard, which makes it possible to pay by payment card in the E-shop. It is a modern solution to accepting cards online and on mobile phones. ČSOB supports 3D Secure, the highest security standard. The Carrier has no access to the passenger’s card details, and all payment details are transmitted only in a secured way, and if the issuing bank of the card supports the 3D Secure standard as well, authentication of the card holder takes place during the internet transaction (authorisation). The payment gate provides the passenger and the Carrier with the same security as if they were paying in a physical store.

Jízdenkagw purchased from the E-shop is considered an electronic tax document in accordance with the respective provisions of the Value Added Tax Act, as amended. By consenting to these Rules, passengers agree to the issuing and sending of the electronic tax document.

    12. Ticket purchase and services provided at the desk of the Carrier’s E-shop

In accordance with the CTC, the Carrier pre-sells tickets at the desk of the Carrier’s E-shop or at the desks of its contracted sellers. A list of desks and their opening times can be found on the website of the Carrier or in the CTC.

The desk provides passengers with a range of services similar to those offered in the E-shop, such as additional Card registration, sale of season tickets, etc. In addition, the desk offers:

  • verification of the entitlement to special and discounted fares (Pupil 6-14 and Student 15-25) to a registered Card,
  • blocking and cancelling the blockage of the season ticket paired with the Card,
  • (In the event of loss (and in similar cases) of a Card registered in the E-shop, it is necessary to block the Card in order to block the valid tickets paired with the Card and the Card itself to prevent unauthorised use of the Card in the E-shop. The Card and the matched valid tickets may be unblocked and used again in the E-shop. A registered passenger may block and cancel the blockage of the season ticket paired with the Card, and also the Card of such registered passenger. Blocking of the Card in the E-shop does not concern the Card’s banking and payment functions.)

  • transfer of a season ticket between the passenger’s Cards,
  • change in the registered passenger’s and registered Card’s details,
  • dealing with warranty claims under the CTC, etc.
  • At the desk of the E-shop, it is possible to pay for the ticket in cash in Czech crowns or by payment card.

The Carrier reserves the right to decide about the range of tickets sold at the respective E-shop desk.

    13. Warranty claims

If the passenger followed the Rules when purchasing the jízdenkagw in the E-shop, and irregularities occurred when issuing the jízdenkagw ticket, the price of the jízdenkagw ticket was charged in an unjustified manner, or if other problems occurred which give rise to an entitlement to make a warranty claim, the passenger may make a warranty claim in accordance with the CTC, with the time limit for making such claims being 30 days from the purchase of the jízdenkagw ticket.

    14. Final provisions

The Carrier is entitled to amend these Rules.

These Rules come into force as of 20 November 2017.

Data processed for the purposes of meeting the obligations under a contract to which the buyer is a party or data necessary to meet a legal duty (to ensure delivery of a service, dealing with a warranty claim, accounting obligations, etc.) are stored for the time necessary for meeting the obligations under the contract or, alternatively, for the period set out by the respective laws (Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, Act No. 563/1991 Coll., the Accounting Act, etc.).

    5. The right to restriction of processing (the right to restriction of processing includes all rights set out in Article 18 of the Regulation, especially the right of the buyer to demand restriction of processing of the buyer’s personal data, if such processing interferes with the data’s accuracy or if the buyer has raised an objection against the processing).

    8. 9. Should the company fail to rectify the above state of affairs, the buyer is entitled to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, which has the role of a supervisory body in personal data protection-related matters.
